Invited to Kosrae!

I was invited to help out on a construction project in Kosrae, Micronesia. I’m Super excited about this assignment. We never know what doors are open to our service to Jehovah unless we try. I can’t believe it!

This is where some of the crew stay. Nice view!

Memorial 2010

Saipan-English had an amazing attendance of 344 for the memorial of Christ Death. This was the first time we had rented a facility for the memorial.

These are just a few of the progressive Bible Students that we hope will become part of our spiritual family soon.

8 new unbaptized publishers

With the memorial season coming up, many were encouraged to finally take the very important step to start preaching. We had 8 qualify in Saipan-English, and 3 in Saipan-Tagalog. I'm so very excited because for the first time I have had the privilege to help a Bible student progress this far. What an exciting feeling in the congregation right now. The zeal of these new ones is contagious. That's many more slaps in Satan's face!

This is Doris [my Bible student] and I out in service for her very first time. We have been studying for almost two years, and i felt she was ready more than 6 months ago. I was waiting for her to ask me when she could start preaching, but she never did. When I finally decided to ask her she said, "I've been waiting for you to ask me!"

This is Marivick on the left and Tess [her Bible study conductor] on the right. Along with just becoming an unbaptized publisher she just gave her very first talk on the school. Marivick has been studying for about 6 months now. In just these 6 months, learning about Jehovah has moved her to become a completely new person. She has given every effort to put on the "New Personality". She can't wait to get baptized this summer.

Saipan S.A.D.

Raul Hidalgo has 3 boys, ages 15,14, and 12. These 3 boys have been faithfully attending meetings and going out in field service for almost 2 years now. They would walk to the meetings and make their own arrangements for service because their parents didn't attend. The 2 oldest boys progressed to the point of baptism. After months and months of the boys steadfastness, we started to see Kuya Raul at the hall. well...

Kuya Raul was Baptized! When he was asked his two questions- he gave to LOUDEST answer I've ever heard anyone give! We are all so happy and so proud to see him make the best decision anyone could ever make.

I went to TINIAN!!!

Tinian is the closest island next to Saipan. It is smaller than Saipan. They have one congregation that consist of 18 publishers. A few on Saipan were asked if they could give talks or be interviewed for the Special Assembly Day, and I had the privilege to be one of them.

To get there, you can take a ferry [ 1 hr.] or a charter plane [7 mins.] Because I wouldn't be able to make the ferry times i had to take the small 6 seater plane. The rest from Saipan had left earlier, so when I left it was just me and the pilot for the long 7min. flight. It was fun!

Here are all the sisters and brothers.

The attendance was 42- a peak for a Special Assembly Day!

Lunch on the go....home

I had another layover in Guam on the way back to Saipan. I was able to stay for a day. I had the privilege of meeting more need greaters that have moved there. Very encouraging to see that our brothers and sisters acknowledge the urgent times we are living in.
Querimit Family, THANK YOU! I appreciate your hospitality very much. Thanks for making me feel like home.
Vince, Iglesias, and Shem- have fun as you go off to the outer islands to build more Kingdom Halls. Maybe you'll see me there.
Troy, I heard you got your missionary assignment! The Marshalls are blessed to have you!

Last Day in P.I.

These are my cousins in Manilla. Last hoo-rah before I had to go. My family all came to the airport to see me off. They all still had another week there. It was very hard being the first one to leave. I cried when I left them.
All of you take care. Be good. And know that even though the time will be too long until we see each other again, I love YOU very much. You will constantly be in my prayers.

Here is the family off for an outing. We rented one jeepney so that we could all ride together. Here are my cousins helping the driver get the Jeepney turned around and out of the sand.

One Jeepney was not enough! See for yourself.

Santos Family Reunion

Family from Canada, California, and myself all flew to the Philippines to have a family reunion in Olongapo, Philippines. Being with all of my cousins I felt like I was 15 again. It was weird seeing all of them grown up, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. I love you guys!!!Here's pictures of my brother my mom and my Grandma.

This is my new baby cousin. My Aunt adopted her from a young girl in P.I. who wanted a better life for her daughter. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY LEXY!
