Look What We Got in Kosrae!
Thanks to our wonderful Father, we now have the new songbook!
This songbook has the first 55 songs. When you are singing from your songbook, know that thousands of miles away, this congregation of 21 publishers is singing along with you.
Praise Jah!

Sunset Cruise...
All the full-time servants of Kosrae are back home. We even had a special visit from the Possamai's. Anna Belle had a great idea to spend an evening together on the water. We ate sashimi, sang some songs, and watched the sunset. It was fun! Thanks Sitsit!

New and NEW!
Anna Belle's Bible student was Baptized! This is our NEW sister. Elsina is her name, and serving Jehovah is her game! Man, did Elsina have many obstacles to overcome-blood issue, health problems, family opposition, cultural traditions, just to name a few-but her determination to serve our Father has been faith strengthening!
Jehovah has answered our prayers! These two brothers, are new additions to the Kosrae Congregation!
Dale and Joe, Thank you for having such self sacrificing spirits.

Meet some of my kids...
Here are a few of my Bible Students...
Mary (bottom left), Mar (holding the peace sign), and Kat (hugging the 2 kids).
Maria (center, in yellow), despite obstacles at home has made the effort to come to the Kingdom Hall.
Tolpe (left), and Srue (right). They are two of my students that live near each other, but didn't know that the other was also studying the Bible. Hehe. It was Srue's first time to the meeting!

Where you go, they will follow...
Richard (age 8) and BetsyRose (age 16) were my partners for the day. It was a really hot day, and I asked the kids if they would join me in walking in the field. They, like normal kids, did a little complaining about how hot it was. They didn't want me to be by myself, so they willing followed. We each were able to place some literature and ended up finding some shade under a tree.

Hubert...
This is our young brother Hubert. Just in this last year, he has joined the school and become an unbaptized publisher. This is him giving an impromptu reading. (Check out his shoes! As some Need-Greaters would say "TMB-That's Micronesia Baby")

Breakfast of Champions!
Yesterday a Bible student gave me "ainpot". This is boiled banana mixed with coconut milk. This is yummiest when it is warm. This morning I had some leftover, heated it up in a pan, and enjoyed it with my coffee. *Fun fact, if some one calls you "ainpot" it means you are looking good!
(Also added some nice scenery pics.)

If you type in "The Jewel of Micronesia" in your search engine- you would get KOSRAE!

Go where the fish are...
Kathy and I were walking up to the house where my Bible student lives and there was a SHARK on the lawn! Her family had gone fishing early that morning and had caught many tuna and one shark. I find "fish" everyday in field service, but this is the first time I found a shark.

Future of Kosrae...

Anyone else home?
My Bible student Maria has been pretty regular for a little while now. Finally we asked if her husband Joe, wanted to join the study. He always seemed a little hesitant, but when I brought a brother along on the study he joined in. We hope this WHOLE family can grow to love Jehovah.

Learning to be Local...
This is Sepe trying to teach me how to make a basket from coconut leaves. This type of basket is used for just about anything. We used it to hold breadfruit that we were bringing to a gathering. But it is also used to put trash into after raking your yard, or if big enough used to carry a baby. They can also be made mini size and can be used as a plate. Amazing!

You're Invited!
With more auxiliary pioneers this year, our congregation was ready to go!
Gerosky, age 5 (young boy, bottom right) invited many people to the memorial. These are the ones that came. Great job Gerosky! With his fine efforts along with everyone else in the congregation (17 publishers), we had 92 in attendance.

Kut Lungse Komtacl...We Love You
Jun and Evelyn, I want to say Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! You have set a fine example and shown great love to all of us here. Please know that when you go, you will continue to be in our prayers. Being in Jehovah's Organization is an amazing thing; We know that no matter where we are, we are all doing the same work. I'm proud to have you as fellow workers. I look forward to seeing you again. Ingat kayo.

Sashimi anyone?
Here is another "first" for me in Kosrae. That's not fish we are eating, that's CRAB sashimi. It wasn't bad, I do think I prefer it cooked though. hehehe. The brothers went out at night with their head flashlights and brought home some dinner. Thanks guys!
The Odani's came along with Troy for our S.A.D. They stayed at our place. Jehovah knows what we need, and a visit with some encouraging friends was what we needed. On top of that, Glen was our personal chief for the week. Yummers!
